La bellezza della legalità

Il progetto “WANTED - Residenza della Legalità” è un osservatorio permanente per la conoscenza, tramite anche la realizzazione di attività di promozione e diffusione per la conoscenza e la tutela del nostro patrimonio culturale. La Biblioteca archivista aperta al pubblico (previa prenotazione inviando una mail a segreteria@extroart.org) si propone come incentivo per il recupero degli oggetti d’arte trafugati nel nostro territorio. La biblioteca si trova all’interno di di un bene confiscato alla mafia, che fa parte del patrimonio immobiliare del Comune di Palermo (via pazienza, 27/29) ed affidato alla Extroart. Un luogo fisico dove sarà possibile, oltre consultare la Biblioteca archivistica, ospitare studiosi e ricercatori provenienti da tutto il mondo, affinché possano contribuire allo studio e alla realizzazione di tutti quegli interventi, sia in Italia che all’Estero, finalizzati a dare ad ogni reperto archeologico (sia marino che terrestre) ed a tutte quelle opere d’arte trafugate nel nostro territorio, la possibilità di essere riconosciute, ritrovate e ricollocate nella loro sua giusta sede d’origine. La Residenza Wanted oltre a diffondere le riproduzioni fotografiche degli oggetti trafugati, organizza laboratori didattici ludici per il coinvolgimento anche dei bambini sollecitando le loro potenzialità e la loro creatività.

WANTED, THE LEGALITY MANSION

The project "Wanted, the legality mansion" is a permanent Observatory for knowledge, through the achievement of promotion and deplopement activities for greater knowledge towards the protection of our cultural heritage.
The Archivist Library is open to the public, by reservation, by sending an email to segreteria@extroart.org. It wants to be an help for the rescue/retrieval of art objects which have been stolen in our territory.
The Library has its headquarter inside an house which has been taken away from the organized crime and which is now part of the real estate of Palermo.
The headquarter is in Pazienza Street, nr 27-29, near Mondello's Square. It has been awarded to Extroart.
The Library is a place where it will be possible to consult the archive and host experts and researchers from all over the world.
All together they can contribute to the study and development of all those actions, both in Italy and abroad, aimed to give every marine and earth's archaeological find and all stolen masterpieces the possibility of being recognized, found and relocated to their right birthplace.
Wanted Residence works to share images of stolen objects and to organize playful educational workshops for the engagement of children, inspiring them to develope their ability and creativity.
